Under Control heads the market and assuming all is well with the Nicky Henderson stable - 6 pull ups out of his last 8 runners - she should go close in this if the ground doesn't get too soft for her. Black Hawk Eagle will try to continue the great form of his trainer Kerry Lee.
The one who interests me at 33/1 is BALLYGEARY who might not have the class of Under Control, but has been a consistent runner for his stable this season over 2 miles in handicap hurdles up in the north. He's rarely been out of the frame this year and ran a fine race at Musselburgh last time out finishing 4th. He is a tricky ride granted but will enjoy this big field where he has plenty of company and can travel into it with ease. He's off a mark of 119 and has the ability to creep up a few pounds still despite not having the class of Under Control for instance. Any rain will help him too, and he rates rhe each way selection at a tasty 33/1.
